"Boat felt dirty and rushed"
We got on the boat and right away it just felt like it hadn’t really been cleaned. The seats were sticky, there was some trash around, and it seemed like everything had been rushed before we arrived. It didn’t feel cared for at all, which was disappointing and not what I was expecting.

"Barely Had to Wait, Even With the Crowd"
I used Pirate Water Taxi on a busy afternoon, and I was bracing myself to be annoyed and stuck waiting forever. The stop looked crowded when I got there, so I figured my plans were about to get delayed, but the line actually moved way faster than I expected.
The boats kept coming at a steady pace, and I got on without feeling stressed or like I had wasted my time. It was a little packed, sure, but not enough to bother me, and for what I needed that day, it was definitely worth it.

i mean, it took me like two minutes to book and there was zero hassle. Really simple from start to finish

"Pretty views, but kinda quick"
The views were really nice, especially once we were out on the water. I did enjoy that part a lot. The ride itself just felt a little rushed to me, like we moved through it before I could really settle in. Still nice overall, just not quite what I thought it would be with that whole thing

"Friendly staff, but it used to feel smoother"
The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, which I appreciated. The guy at the dock answered my questions without making me feel rushed, and that definitely helped the experience.
The ride itself was okay, but the timing wasn’t very clear and we ended up waiting longer than expected. I remember this being a bit more organized before, so it was a little disappointing this time around.
Overall, I’d say it’s about 3 stars. Nice people and a decent ride, but it used to be better and could use some tightening up with the scheduling

"Felt safe, even if I was ready to get going"
The crew helped us get on board and made the whole process feel safe. I was a little impatient to just get moving already, but once we were on, I felt comfortable the entire ride.

The stops were really easy to spot and close to where we were staying, which was a relief. I usually trust my instinct when getting around a new place, and this felt simple right away. No long walking around or confusion — getting on was straightforward.

"A nice time overall"
I went in mostly just hoping it would be an easy outing and not one of those things where you start adding up the cost the whole time. The place was easy enough to get around, the staff seemed fine, and we ended up spending more time there than I expected. By the end of it, I was actually glad we went, the tickets felt worth it to me

"Mostly reliable, with one small delay"
I’ve used Pirate Water Taxi a few times to get around, and for the most part, the timing seemed dependable. The boats usually showed up close to the posted schedule, which made it easier to plan things without feeling like I had to constantly check the time.
There was one ride that was maybe about 10 minutes late, I think, but it wasn’t a huge issue. The staff seemed to keep everything moving fairly well, and it felt organized enough overall. I’d probably use it again

"Not the best setup for families"
I took my family and it wasn’t the smoothest experience. The staff were fine, but it just didn’t feel very kid-friendly overall. We had little ones and a stroller, and there wasn’t much help getting on or figuring things out. My kids got bored quickly too. I don’t really blame the staff as much as whoever runs this, because the whole setup just doesn’t seem made with families in mind. I might go again, but probably without the kids next time.
